the case already had windows...
cable management doesnt get any better, i spent hours trying to hide cables but the case simply has nowhere to hide them.

replace the windows with mesh :)
small cases dont work with windows IMO, as you say, you cant hide the cables :(

i dont see how mesh will hide the cable mess either...
im not going to spend another second trying to make the system look neat. it took me hours to set it up as it is right now

What hardware have you got inside it?
Im glad you have posted something about your Qpack because I was looking at getting one for Uni. I was planning to watercool it, i know its do-able but i dont think it will look very pretty...unless i go for windowless.

this is definitely a case that shouldnt have windows. the only way to tidy cables is wrap them around bars and underneath the mobo. if you dont use all the bays then obviously you can hide more cables under the dvd drive but for me that wasnt the case.
so here is the hardware
Athlon64 3000 @ stock with Zalman Flower AlCu
Asrock 939S56-M
2x512MB Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC4000
Sapphire X850XT PE with Zalman Flower AlCu
Creative X-Fi Platinum
Raptor 74GB
HP DVD-RW Lightscribe
5in1 Floppy/Card Reader
Aspire X-QPack with 420W PSU (noisy and fluctuates)
I havent gone into overclocking but the idle cpu heatsink temp being 31 says it all (actualy cpu temp 35C, room temp 25C). It has very good cooling indeed.
The PSU is a bit of a let down but it has yet to cause instability even under lots of gaming. It has stalled once however when running 3dmark06 and prime95 at the same time.
Alphacool make a pre-installed watercooled model.

There is also a model without windows which i've seen elsewhere

i know about both but i was never interested in water cooling and when i bought my case they didnt have the version without the windows.

I really like it, you have done a pretty good job if u ask me at hiding the cables, its such a pain and a tiresome job, in such a small compact space... i've experienced it alot!
What are your thoughts about the motherboard?

the mobo kicks ass. 30 quid for a mobo that will go up to 240FSB.... it also lets you play with the ram timings and has raid0 and raid1 support.

what lans do you go to? i28?
I bet the version with the preinstalled watercooling sucks, just a single 120 radiator, i would probably stick with aircooling in this case, unless you want to stick a 120.2 radiator to the top of it (which would be useless as a lan rig).

not bad, yer water cooling one is tricky , i.e use 3/8 tubing
sorry for digging up old threads, im new here and im looking around at all the good stuff
also i am trying to boost my post count so i can sell a water block
