This is my first watercooling experience, so this is my disclosure that I am 100% noob at it.
I regret to say that I have not been taking pictures as I go along in the modification, but they are so well covered by Coolermiester so everyone should know about this cases potential. Thank you for the inspiration Coolermiester!!
The only real difference is that I put a 2.120 rad in with the barbs close to the power supply rather then have them in the drivebay. IMHO it looks clean, and saves room for the drivebay. it is not quite done yet, but I am getting ready to add water and put it all back together.
I am open to any comments or criticism on this project... or if you see a problem with the setup please do post it so we may all learn from my mistake :)
Here are the pics:

Made a small mount for the 1/2" modded DDC- Plus1 Pump out of angled aluminum. Also this res fits perfectly beside the HDD cage and the side of the case.

Cut out both of the aluminum bars at the back of the powersupply holder to accomidate the radiator and barbs.

Sorry forgot to add the system setup info...
- Laing DDC-Plus1 pump Modified with 1/2" inlet and outlet
- Swiftech Microres
- Swiftech MCR220 Radiator
- Swiftech Storm CPU block Rev.2
- Swiftech MCP60 GPU block with 8 copper bga Ramsinks
- Tygon 1/2" tubing
- 2 x Coolermaster Blue LED 120mm fans (42.7 CFM at 22dB-a)
- Black AC ryan Stripes Radgrill 2x120
And I am unsure what to use for a Water additive. I will probably use Zerex.

cool...
your wavemaster looks a lot shiner than mine...

Looks really neat and clean and i do take your point about mounting the Rad that way which i did on my first one (http://coolercasesuk.co.uk/showthread.php?t=19) but i found it really awkward to route some PSU cables in fact with a couple of PSU's i couldn't even fit them into the cage that way but its definitely the shortest route for hose if you can get away with it.
Is it OK to run a DDC on its side like that??
Great job, keep us posted

according to the manual, they work mounted sideways.... without a plexi-top and the orginal barbs, they fit sideways on the HDD rack of a wavemaster...
Coolmiester.. ive got my Rad like that, and it is a bit of a pig, especially with a modular PSU, but its eaiser to plumb, and looks nicer....
You went full-out on the tubing, that tygon looks very nice in the pictures!
Whats the system specs?
I can see the Asus A8R32-MVP motherboard and X1900 graphics card!
One thing though, based on my own experience that motherboard is a poor overclocker if thats what you plan on doing, it struggles to even get my FX60 past 2.85ghz dues to a limited voltage control.

Right now I have a Opteorn 165 Stepping CCB1E 0608 FPAW. ( known to be pretty much the best stepping code made to date.)
Before switching to watercooling I was running the chip at 2.75 Ghz at stock Vcore (14hrs Dual prime stable), with an Arctic cooler 64 Pro Freezer. But my temps where way to hot. and I had to leave the side of the case open. With watercooling I am hoping to hit 3.0ghz with no more then 1.4 volts... "crosses fingers"
Pretty much the biggest reason for switching to watercooling. Full system specs are:
Opteron 165 CCB1E 0608 FPAW.
Asus A8R32-MVP Mobo
OCZ EB DDR PC-4000 2x1024MB Platinum Edition Dual Channel Kit
ATI Radeon X1900XTX
Seasonic S12-600 Power Supply
WD Raptor 150gig HDD
Hitachi 7k250t 250gig HDD
Benq 1655 Lightscribe DVD burner
About the pump, I wasnt sure about the DDC pump being run that way either.. I have asked on several forums about it, and id say for responses I have got about 1/2 the people run it sideways instead of flat. They said you just cannot run it upsidedown with the bottom pointing up.
I agree with you fully Coolermiester... I can deffinatly see how certin powersupplies especially modular ones will be extremely difficult to wire with the rad setup like this. the Seasonic seems to be a bit shorter then normal perhaps, as it seems to have a decent amount of room for the wires still.
As a small note to anyone who wants to put the radiator like this, i have a FSP 700 watt and its just 14cm in length, dont know how this compares to the seasonic but its the shortest i have ever seen!

I just measured... the Seasonic S12-600 is also 14cm in depth. which leaves about 4.5cm behind the powersupply to the back of the PS cage.
On a side note... what is the best water additive to use? I heard Zerex is the best... the case will be closed up without a window or lights inside so I dont have to worry too much about sunlight on the water.

I would say this is a very good reason to ALWAYS clean your watercooling components before using... And I was thinking of just setting it up without a good cleaning... After seeing the polution in the Vinegar, this step just graduated in my mind to one of the most important steps you HAVE to do before running your setup for the first time!
http://members.shaw.ca/hyroglifix/images/cleanrad.jpg
Just finished pouring in vinegar... I find using some tubing on both barbs like this helps avoid spills, and allows you to shake it up all you like without worry.

This picture is taken about 5 minuites after the vinegar was added, and shaken a bit.

Now this is just horrible... it is hard to see, but yes there are lots and lots of black particles floating about..

Hmmm. i never did that on my rig. is it essential?

Its a pretty good idea, I didn't clean out my first rad and it made a mess of my tubes and water so I had to flush it and refill a few days later :(

Well... I put it all back together this afternoon. After Cleaning and rinsing the rad 3 or 4 times in a 20 hour period, and cleaning the GPU and CPU blocks with ketchup...
Filled the system up with 95% distilled water and 5% Zerex supercoolant from dangerden... and so far no leaks!!!
The one problem I am having though... is my pump sounds WAY loud.. sounds like an old Delta 80mm fan I used to have. I unscrewed my mount from the case, and it is now almost silent. obviously there is some kind of vibration transfer to the rest of the case.
Question for coolermiester... How do you isolate the pump so it is quiet yet still mounted securely?

People have tried different methods, some pumps have mountings that can be bought for them, other people have mounted them on neoprene with much success.
Ideally you need some sort of rubber or foam in between the pump, any mounting screws and the case.
I test tried mounting my Eheim 1250 with some thick velcro and that seems to absorb all the vibration very nicely.

Actually what I ended up doing is I cut a small piece of the Tygon tubing I had, and placed it between the pump support I made and the case.
seems to have stopped all the vibrations.

Question about the res... is it the Swiftech MC RES? How wide is it please? Did you mount that using velcro/foam? Cheers!
