World Cup Sweep Stake

Just to make the World Cup a little more entertaining I’ve put together a free to enter World Cup Sweep Stake with some small prizes to the winners.

World Cup Winning Side = 1st
Highest Goal Scoring Side = 2nd
Most Goals Conceded = 3rd
World Cup Losing Side = 4th

There are 32 teams and I’ve given each team a number so all you need to do is pick and post a number between 1 and 32 in this thread and I’ll let you know which team that number belongs to.

If all 32 teams get chosen, I’ll reshuffle the teams and numbers and start again and the prizes (if any) will be shared between the winners, a bit like the National Lottery:D

Keep in mind it’s just a bit of fun for the forum and i'll send other mods a copy of the list once they have picked a number so they can keep it updated and make sure there is no cheating:smile:

Hats off to Japan for scoring the first goal against Brazil yesterday shame they lost the game overall :( but it was to be expected really.

I got an excel spreadsheet at work where you type in the scores and it tells you who is playing who and their postions, date and time of next match, which stadium and even shows you a picture of the stadium.

I can upload that with the data I have already filled in (you will need to enable macro's for it to work though)
