Been meaning to have a go at this for ages so here goes.
This is to link Sli NV-68/78 blocks so they can fit motherboards with a 40mm spacing between slots as appose the the Asus A8N which is 60mm.
The problem being is that once the cards and blocks are mounted there is only 18mm between inlet and outlet which is too small a space to use barbs and a piece of hose so the only thing i could come up with was to braze two cut off barbs together which will fit perfect though will be a little hard to fit as the cards will have to be mounted to the blocks then the blocks rotated together so the barbs screw into them.
Anyway this is how i've gone about it...
Take two standard Hi-Flow Danger Den barbs

Cut one of the hose tails off all together and leave 8mm on the other

This is it prepared to be heated with the red flux to help the little bits of cut brazing rod flow round the seam when melted.

Now the fun part:D - heat it into submission, well until the little bits of brass melt

And here's the charred end result.....looks a little sad at present but will be back looking good with a bit of TLC

There you go, once i get a chance to get it cleaned up and installed i'll update!
