Hi to all.

Iam wondering as i have a choice out of processors what would be faster out of the intel pentium D 805 clocked at 4.00ghz
http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/107617/rb/20762510048
or the E6300 Core Duo
http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/114212/rb/20762454095

and what would be faste out of the 2 at stock speeds hope someone can help .

6300 Core2Duo clocked as fast as you can get it... Just make sure you get fast ram.

conroe will beat anything on the market right now hands down. no point even thinking about buying something else.

Your talking the 2mb chips here, not the faster 4mb. But in this case, yes the Conroe will be the quicker option. The 6300 tends to be FSB limited so you shouldnt need uber cooling to max the chip. IF you can afford it grab a 6400, has a better multi and you should see higher clocks from it.
The 6300 should run to ~ 3ghz before you hit an FSB wall, as mentioned above grab some decent ram to go with it if you can, to maximise the performance
